The American Announces 2026-27 Men's Basketball Conference Schedule Pairings

IRVING, Texas – The American Conference announced its 2026-27 men's basketball schedule pairings Friday morning.
The conference slate retains its 18-game format. Each team will face six opponents in home-and-home series, while the remaining six games are split evenly between home and road matchups.
Temple's home-and-home opponents are South Florida, UAB, Tulane, East Carolina, Rice and UTSA.
The Owls will host single games against Wichita State, Memphis and Tulsa at the Liacouras Center and will travel for single contests at Charlotte, North Texas and Florida Atlantic.
American Conference play will begin Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2026, and conclude Sunday, March 7, 2027. The American will announce the complete schedule, including dates and tipoff times, at a later date.
The 2027 American Conference Men's Basketball Championship will be held March 10-14 at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida.
