PHILADELPHIA — Despite UAB controlling the game with shots and corners, Temple women's soccer (7-2, 1-0 American) pulled off a 2-0 victory over UAB (3-5-1, 0-1 American).

Temple struck twice in the game, with Giovanna Echavarria opening the scoring in the 45th minute before Victoria Pimenta doubled the lead moments after the second-half kickoff off an assist from Madison Abi Aoun.
