Zivkovic Earns Pair of American Conference Weekly Honors

IRVING, Texas — Following her sixth shutout of the season, Temple goalkeeper Ana Zivkovic has been named the American Conference Goalkeeper of the Week and Freshman of the Week, the conference announced Monday afternoon.
Zivkovic has started all nine games in goal for the Owls this season, recording six shutouts, which ranks first in the American Conference and 11th nationally. She has made 17 saves on 60 shots faced while posting a .708 save percentage.
Earlier this season, Zivkovic earned American Conference Honorable Mention honors following a strong performance against St. Peter's.
Most recently, Zivkovic recorded a season-high six saves in Temple's 2-0 victory over UAB on Sept. 17, helping the Owls open conference play with a shutout victory.
