9.23.26 | Women's Fencing
PHILADELPHIA – Temple Fencing's Senior Epeeist Lindsey Minor has been accepted as part of the Engaged Athlete Fellowship program for the 2026-2027 season.
The Engaged Athlete Fellowship brings together a diverse group of motivated student athletes committed to strengthening participation across their teams, campuses, and communities. Engaged Student-Athlete Fellows will work alongside respected mentors, accomplished coaches, professional athletes, and The Team to develop and carry out a year-long community service project rooted in their own ideas and local needs.
Lindsey is one of 39 student athletes across the nation to be accepted into the program. She also is one out of four fencers among those 39, marking her as the only non-Ivy League fencer to be part of the fellowship.
By combining the reach of athletics with meaningful service, fellows will build the skills and confidence to be better teammates, more engaged citizens, and lasting contributors to their communities.
"I'm excited and honored to join the Engaged Athlete Fellowship," Minor said. "I'm thrilled by the opportunity to serve and work alongside others to create an impact in my community!"
