For the third consecutive season, left tackle Dion Dawkins (2013-16), safety Sam Franklin (2016-19), and the Buffalo Bills are off to a 3-0 start with their 24-17 win over the Chargers. Dawkins contributed to an offense that totaled 350 yards while Franklin notched two tackles on special teams.
Cornerback Rock Ya-Sin (2018) and the Detroit Lions improved to 2-1 on the season with their 31-24 win over the New York Jets. Ya-Sin recorded two tackles in the win.
The Tennessee Titans dropped a close 12-7 decision to the New York Giants. Linebacker Jacob Martin (2014-17) played a significant amount on defense while tight end David Martin Robinson (2018-23) appeared on two offensive snaps.
Head Coach Todd Bowles (1982-85) and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers fell to the Vikings by a score of 23-16.
Cornerback Christian Braswell (2017-20) did not play in the Jaguars 35-6 win over the Patriots.
On Monday Night Football, Arnold Ebiketie (2017-20) and the Philadelphia Eagles lost at Chicago 27-7. Ebiketie had two tackles.
