2011 Sweet D Field Hockey Spring Clinic, Summer Camp, Clinic & Tournaments

Saturday, May 14, 2011 – Sweet D Field Hockey Spring Clinic – Hat Tricks & Shutouts Clinic:
(for High School & Middle School age players)
This one day Spring Clinic will include quality instruction by the Temple Field Hockey Coaching Staff, Temple Alumni, and current Temple student-athletes. This developmental field hockey clinic will focus on game play and the specialty skills needed for Forwards and Goalkeepers!
Clinic Date: Saturday, May 14, 2011
Clinic Session Times: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Costs: $100 per player.
Ages: 11 - 13 years old and 14 - 18 years old.
Grades: Campers should be currently in 6th - 12th grade in the Spring of 2011.
Sat & Sun, July 9 & 10, 2011 - Sweet D Field Hockey Summer Camp at Temple's Geasey Field
This Summer Camp will be a 2-day, day camp that will include quality instruction, drills, & games on Temple's AstroTurf field. This day camp will have 4 training sessions on the AstroTurf.
Camp Dates: Saturday & Sunday July 9 & 10, 2011
Camp Session Times: 10:00 am - 4:30 pm
Price: $220 per camper
Ages: 14-18 years old.
Grades: Campers should be currently in 8th-12th grade in the Spring of 2011. (Campers should be entering 9th-12th grade in High School in the Fall of 2011. Campers entering college in the Fall of 2011 are also allowed to attend this summer camp.)
Food: Lunch will be provided on both days.
Camp Package: Each camper will receive a reversible pinnie.
Sat & Sun, July 30 & 31, 2011 - Maria Whitehead Memorial Tournament at Temple
Sweet D Field Hockey, LLC is hosting the 2nd Annual Memorial Tournament in memory of Maria Whitehead.
Tournament Format: This Tournament will consist of full field 11 aside games for Women's Club Teams. Games will be played on the AstroTurf of Geasey Field at Temple University.
Tournament Cost: $400 per team
Individual players: Please contact AJ at sweet.d.fh@gmail.com to sign up for a team for $30 per person.
Ages: 22 years old and older. This Tournament is for Adult Women who have graduated from College. No College players or High School players are allowed to participate. (NCAA rules do not permit me to host a tournament for college players.)
Approximate Schedule: Saturday, July 30: 9am-6pm and Sunday, July 31: 9am-6pm. Exact game times will be dependent on the number of registered teams.

Geasey Field is located at 1890 N. 15th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19122
(The entrance is at the corner of 15th and Norris Street.)
There are two AstroTurf hockey fields. Please wear sneakers or turf shoes. No cleats please!
