Temple athletics wholeheartedly supports the transition of our students from student-athletes to professionals. To ensure their transition is as smooth as possible, we want to make sure that any potential agents or advisors meet regulated standards set by the state of Pennsylvania.
 Athlete Agent Requirements:
1. Agent must be a certified Contract Advisor with the NFLPA
2. Agent must be registered with the State of Pennsylvania Athletic Commission
3. Agent must be registered with the Temple Athletics’ Office of Compliance & Student-Athlete Affairs
4. Agent must receive confirmation that they are an approved agent by our office
Financial Advisor Requirements:
1. Advisor must be registered with Temple Athletics Compliance Office
2. Advisor must receive confirmation that they are an approved agent by the Temple Athletics’ Office of Compliance & Student-Athlete Affairs
Student-Athletes Student-Athletes will lose their eligibility to participate in Intercollegiate Athletics if any of the following occur:
1. A current or future agreement (contract) to be represented by an Agent is entered into by a student-athlete – this applies to written and verbal agreements
2. A current or future agreement (contract) for representation by an Agent is entered into by a student-athletes family members on his/her behalf – this applies to written and verbal agreements.
3. A student-athlete, their family members, or their friends accept any benefit from an Agent, Advisor or any individual who works in conjunction with them.
