TEMPLE OWL CLUB
The Temple Owl Club provides resources needed to enrich the lives of our student-athletes as they strive to achieve excellence in the classroom and at the highest level of competition. Â
Support for our student-athletes not only provides a first-class competition experience, but ensures a continuum of excellence across student-athlete welfare. This includes access to top academic, training, nutrition, and professional development resources. Because of Owl Club support, our student-athletes are able to graduate as leaders in their communities and model representatives of Temple University. Â
Donor support is critical to enhancing our Student-Athlete Commitment which includes:Â
- Academic ExcellenceÂ
- Athletic ExcellenceÂ
- Career DevelopmentÂ
- Civic EngagementÂ
- Holistic DevelopmentÂ
We are committed to operating with integrity in the best interest of the University, the American Athletic Conference, and the NCAA. Donors can join the Owl Club to help with these and other initiatives, with a gift of $100 or more to the Owl Club Annual Fund or Sport-Specific Funds. Young alumni under the age of 30 can join the Owl Club with a donation of $50 or more to the Owl Club Annual Fund or Sport-Specific Funds.Â
The following subgroups are interconnected with the greater Temple Owl Club. They are:Â
- Graduate Owl Club (young alumni under the age of 30)Â
- Wild Cherry Club (current Temple University undergraduate students)Â
- The T-Club (former Temple student-athletes, support staff, spirit squad members)Â
FACILITIES/CAPITAL PROJECTS:
Temple Athletics is committed to providing first-class facilities and amenities for all 19 varsity sports. In an era when colleges and universities strive to recruit elite student-athletes and coaches, facilities have become a critical component of success. Building and maintaining outstanding facilities is integral to attracting and retaining top-tier talent. Â
Facility improvements within Temple Athletics have been substantial over the last few years, including our recent completion of The New York City Angels student-athlete lounge, located within McGonigle Hall. Â
Temple Athletics regularly assesses our facilities in order to provide the best venues for student-athletes to train and compete. Private giving through the Temple Owl Club is pivotal for success of all future projects. To learn more about supporting a specific project, please contact the Temple Owl Club at 215-204-CLUB (2582).Â
