GAME DAY 

Saturday, April 12 @ 2 p.m. Edberg-Olson Football Complex (10th & Diamond) 

*** FREE ADMISSION

Parking: Parking will be available in the Diamond Street Lot (between 11th  & 12th on Diamond Street) for $10. Parking is CREDIT CARD ONLY. Tailgating: Tailgating is allowed in the Diamond Street Lot and Norris Lot.  Spots are available on a first come, first served basis.  Parking Lots will open to fans at 9 a.m. and will close at 8 p.m.  Tailgating will be limited to one spot per vehicle. Seating:
Limited bleacher seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis in the north end zone and east sideline.  Standing room will be available at field level.   

The following items will not be permitted inside the Edberg-Olson Football Complex on game day: 

• Alcohol
• Animals, unless a service animal 
• Bags (Only Clear Bags Will Be Allowed)
• Backpacks 
• Camera/cell phone extension poles (Selfie Sticks) 
• Chairs

SPRING PRACTICE

Temple Football kicked off its 2025 spring training on March 12 at Edberg-Olson Hall. The squad took the field in helmets and spider gear. The Owls are a month away from their Cherry & White Spring Game on April 12.

Tuesday, March 12
Temple started its first spring practice with a mix of position drills, 7-v-7 action, and 11-v-11 play.

Senior quarterback Clifton McDowell, looking equipped to make a positive impact on the offense in his first season with Temple, completed a 40-yard pass for a touchdown during today's 1-on-1 drill. On the defensive side of the exercise, cornerback Jamel Johnson, a sophomore transfer from Covington, Ga., made an interception.

In seven-on-seven drills, quarterback Forrest Brock connected with tight end Landon Morris for a nifty sideline snag. Linebacker London Hall achieved the play of the day by hauling an interception in for a touchdown. 

Thursday, March 14
The Owls held an action-packed practice on their second day of spring ball.

During 1-on-1 action, redshirt freshman wide receiver Kian Johnson caught a 35-yard touchdown. Also on the receiving end, Cole Sprague snagged a touchdown off of a pass by QB Forrest Brock. WR Ian Stewart earned the play of the day after achieving a one-handed catch for 20 yards. 

Transfer QBs Evan Simon and Clifton McDowell excelled during 7-v-7 play. Dante Wright, a redshirt senior WR, broke loose from a defensive clutch, catching a dart from Simon for 15 yards. Simon also completed a 15-yard pass to Stewart. McDowell threw a concise pass to TE Landon Morris for a 25-yard sideline catch. Redshirt freshman WR Zyheem Coleman-Frazier also secured a McDowell pass. On defense, senior safety Andreas Keaton notched two pass-breakups, nearly making an interception during his second practice with the Owls. 

Running back Tyrei Washington broke a 20-yard run on the left sideline during 11-v-11 action. The defense made two interceptions. Redshirt junior transfer Javier Morton made an impressive 40-yard interception at safety, while redshirt sophomore LB Corey Yeoman made an interception off of a tipped pass for 35.

Saturday, March 16
The Owls took the field at Edberg-Olson Hall for their first Saturday practice of the spring sessions. The Cherry & White welcomed several dozen recruits and their families, as well as Temple staff for faculty appreciation day.

In 1-v-1 drills, WR Dante Wright excelled with a touchdown catch in tight coverage and another sideline grab on the right side of the field. In the same drill, Landon Morris also broke off a receiving touchdown. In the second set of 1-v-1 drills, TE Peter Clarke made a contested catch on a solid gain.

In 11-v-11 action, DL Cam'Ron Stewart made an interception at the line and Temple's defense later came up with a fumble recovery. The offense bounced back, as Antwain Littleton broke loose for a long run. QB Cliff McDowell connected with Wright on the play of the day, as the wide receiver leaped for a reception over the middle of the field. SAF Zyil Powell recorded an interception near the conclusion of the drill.

Tuesday, March 19
Temple kicked off its second Tuesday practice of spring ball at 8 a.m. 

WR Dante Wright had a solid 1-v-1 performance, achieving a clean 40-yard touchdown and a sturdy 25-yard catch. During the same drill, WR Zae Baines caught a dart from QB Evan Simon on the 25-yard marker, then running in for a touchdown. Also at WR, Zyheem Coleman-Frazier cushioned a 15-yard dart on the sideline. Kyle Williams earned the play of the day by leaping for a one-armed 25-yard sideline catch against tight defensive coverage.

7-v-7 action began with an interception by CB Aaron Anderson Jr. on the left sideline. Redshirt freshman QB Tyler Douglas connected on a pass to RB Tyrei Washington for 15-yards. Against a tight-knit defense, senior TE James Della Pesca excelled with a 10-yard catch from Douglas. 

RB Antwain Littleton started 11-v-11 play by breaking loose for a 25-yd run up the right sideline. Washington broke loose again, carrying the ball for 15 yards. Quarterbacks Clifton McDowell and Forrest Brock both made explosive runs for a touchdown, McDowell with 30 yards and Brock with 40. To close 11-v-11 action, LB D.J. Woodbury made an interception off of a tipped pass by SAF Javier Morton.

Thursday, March 21
Thursday's practice was very competitive, with a mix of tackling drills, 1-v-1 action, and 11-v-11 play. 

During the 1-v-1 tackling drill, CB Jamel Johnson forced a fumble.

SAF Javier Morton started 7-v-7 action by deflecting a pass on the sideline. QB Evan Simon threw a concise 20-yard pass to WR Ian Stewart, who then spun off of tight coverage to secure a touchdown. Simon also threw a 25-yard touchdown to redshirt freshman WR JoJo Huntley. QB Cliff McDowell threw two darts that were received at the 35-yard line, one catch made by TE Landon Morris and the other by TE Daniel Evert. 

11-v-11 scrimmaging was action-packed, with a solid mixture of offensive and defensive highlights. On offense, QB Cliff McDowell made a 25-yard run to score a touchdown. McDowell then completed a pass to TE James Della Pesca for 15 yards. QB Evan Simon scored a touchdown by navigating a 20-yard run up the middle of the field. TE Peter Clarke cushioned a QB Forrest Brock pass, securing a touchdown. Temple's defense excelled in making a few forced fumbles during 11-v-11 action, with SAF Andreas Keaton and DE Cam'Ron Stewart as playmakers. Both CB Torey Richardson and CB Ben Osueke knocked down passes on the sideline. The defense concluded practice by forcing a loss of two yards. 

Saturday, March 23
The Temple Football team practiced on the turf at the Aramark STAR Complex on Saturday, due to inclement weather.

Despite the change of scenery, practice was still action-packed and full of energy. In 7-v-7 drills, TE Daniel Evert hauled in a 30-yard touchdown reception. SAF Elijah Deravil broke up a pass that nearly went down as an interception.

The Owls ran a healthy dose of 11-v-11 drills, with Joquez Smith rushing in a 10-yard touchdown early in the drill. Deravil forced another pass breakup, while the defense forced a fumble in the endzone.

TE Peter Clarke caught a 15-yard touchdown later in the drill, before QB Forrest Brock connected with WR Corey Cuascut-Palmer for a 30-yard touchdown on the right side.

The play of the day came when WR Ian Stewart made a one-handed catch in tight coverage on the left sideline for a 20-yard gain.

Tuesday, March 26
Tuesday's practice consisted of position drills, 1-v-1, 3-v-3, 7-v-7 action, and 11-v-11 scrimmaging at Edberg-Olson. 

SAF Javier Morton started 1-v-1 play with a 10-yd interception on the sideline. The defense kept strong momentum as CB Ben Osueke hauled in an interception and SAF Zyil Powell forced a fumble. The offense scored three touchdowns, with WR Corey Cuascut-Palmer plucking a dart from QB Patrick Keller, WR Dante Wright catching a 40-yd ball in the end zone from QB Evan Simon, and WR Preston Everhart making a 25-yd run.

7-v-7 action was very competitive. Defensively, the Owls applied tight pressure which led to CB Aaron Anderson Jr. forcing a fumble, DT Demerick Morris making a sack, and DT K.J. Miles breaking up a pass by applying immense QB pressure. The play of the day came when Simon threw a tight spiral to TE Landon Morris for 25 yds.

Temple's offense found great rhythm during 11-v-11 play. Simon broke out of tight coverage to make a 30-yd run for a touchdown. QB Forrest Brock scored two touchdowns, one from connecting a 45-yd throw to Cuascut-Palmer and another on a 55-yd run to the end zone. On defense, LB Tyquan King notched a sack. 


Thursday, March 28
Due to inclement weather, the Temple Football team practiced at the Aramark STAR Complex turf on Thursday morning. The Owls' practice was filled with position drills and 11-v-11 scrimmaging.

Defensively, the Cherry and White immediately sprung into action at the start of 11-v-11 play, with CB Daiyaan Hawkins making a 20-yd interception in the center of the field. Safeties Louis Frye and Javier Morton also plucked interceptions, Morton returning the ball for 40-yds and earning the play of the day. WR Preston Everhart scored the first touchdown of the morning as he caught a 20-yd ball from QB Evan Simon at the sideline of the end zone. RB Tyrei Washington logged another touchdown as the junior transfer caught a 10-yd screen pass and ran the ball into the end zone. The defense made two crucial plays in the end zone, with a blocked pass by senior safeties Andreas Keaton and Elijah Deravil.

During the second half of 11-v-11 action, TE James Della Pesca scored a 15-yd touchdown off of a QB Forrest Brock pass. RB Antwain Littleton achieved a 40-yd touchdown run, followed by a 20-yd touchdown by E.J. Wilson. On defense, LB D.J. Woodbury forced a fumble. 

Saturday, March 30
Temple once again saw a large Saturday crowd of recruits and team family members, on what was a sunny and pleasant-weather practice. In addition to several position drills, the Owls focused primarily on 11-v-11 scrimmage scenarios at full contact.

In the opening 7-v-7 drill, the defense was firing. LB Tyler Lepolo and LB D.J. Woodbury came up with takeaways and SAF Andreas Keaton made a diving pass breakup.

Temple's offense looked to move the ball down the field in 11-v-11 drills, as TE Reese Clark impressed with a 30-yard catch. RB E.J. Wilson recorded a 20-yard rush on the same possession, but the defense concluded the drive with a turnover on downs.

The play of the day came from QB Tyler Douglas, who broke loose for a 50-yard rush on the ensuing offensive possession.

The defense forced a fumble later in 11-v-11 action, before QB Forrest Brock connected with WR Dante Wright for a 35-yard touchdown. QB Patrick Keller later rushed in a 15-yard touchdown.

The Owls closed the day off with a five-yard goal-to-go situational, where Temple's defense made several stands, but the rushing attack ultimately prevailed. RB Antwain Littleton, QB Forrest Brock, TE Reese Clark, QB Tyler Douglas, and RB E.J. Wilson all scored rushing touchdowns.

Tuesday, April 2
To start the week, the Owls practiced at the Aramark Star Complex turf due to inclement weather. After position drills, Temple zoned in on 1-v-1s, 3-v-3s, and 11-v-11 action. 

The Cherry and White was very competitive during 1-on-1 play. The defense made key plays, which included an interception by SAF Louis Frye and a tipped pass in the end zone from SAF Ihsim Smith-Marsette. Offensively, Temple scored several touchdowns, including a 20-yard throw by QB Evan Simon to WR Cole Sprague in the corner of the end zone. WR Zae Baines also registered a touchdown by catching a 10-yard ball in despite tight coverage. 

The offense maintained rhythm during 11-v-11 scrimmaging, with QB Tyler Douglas throwing a precise 35-yard ball to TE Reese Clark for a touchdown. WR Dante Wright also secured a touchdown by stabbing a high 25-yard dart from QB Evan Simon. This marked the first of three touchdowns between Simon and Wright. SAF Louis Frye came up big with his second interception of the morning. SAF Andreas Keaton followed suit by fully extending his arm to block a pass in the end zone. 

The play of the day came when QB Forrest Brock connected a 40-yard ball to WR Corey Cuascut-Palmer for a thrilling touchdown. 

Thursday, April 4
Temple underwent a full-contact practice on Chodoff Field at Edberg-Olson Hall. The team took part in tackling drills, 1-v-1s, 3-v-3s, and 11-v-11 scrimmaging.

1-v-1 action began with TE Reese Clark making a one-handed catch in the end zone off of a QB Forrest Brock throw. WR Kyle Madden continued offensive momentum as the redshirt junior make a swift move around tight coverage for a touchdown. WR Dante Wright tallied a touchdown off of a throw by QB Evan Simon as he caught the ball in a one-armed cradle. Defensively, SAF Ihsim Smith-Marsette notched an interception. 

3-v-3s were action-packed on both sides of the ball, with CB Jaylen Lewis earning his first interception of the day. Forrest Brock achieved another touchdown as he threw a 20-yard dart to Kyle Madden in the end zone. WR Preston Everhart made a 30-yard run for a touchdown to close the drill. 

Jaylen Lewis made his second interception of the day during 11-v-11 play. The defense continued to make crucial plays, including a blocked pass by DT Jason Moore and a 25-yard interception by LB Tyquan King. Offensively, Dante Wright scored two touchdowns, one from a 25-yard pass by QB Tyler Douglas, and the second off of a 1-v-1 spin-move which led to a 15-yard touchdown, marking the play of the day. The first half of 11-v-11 action also consisted of touchdowns by TE Peter Clarke and Reese Clark. After halftime, Clark tallied his third touchdown of the day catching a 25-yard ball from Evan Simon. Defensively, SAF Elijah Deravil recorded a pick on the sideline. SAF Javier Morton followed suit as the redshirt junior forced a fumble. RB Antwain Littleton made a 35-yard run up the sideline to score another touchdown for the Owls' offense. To close practice, QB Patrick Keller threw a precise ball to Preston Everhart, who then barreled through a tight-knit defense to reach the end zone. 

Saturday, April 6
The Owls took part in an energetic practice amidst windy conditions at Chodoff Field on Saturday morning. Temple Football royalty was on hand in the presence of former Owls Paul Palmer and Dion Dawkins. The practice consisted of position drills, 7-v-7 action, 11-v-11 scrimmaging, red-zone  practice, and 1-on-1 tackling drills.

Following position drills, Temple began 7-v-7 play with a 20-yard run by WR Elias Collins. Offensive efforts continued with QB Evan Simon finding TE James Della Pesca with a concise 25-yard ball.

During red-zone practice, WR Dante Wright began the session with a 15-yard jet sweep that culminated in a 28-yard  field goal. 

11-v-11 scrimmaging started strong with a 40-yard run by Wright off a QB Patrick Keller throw. WR Zae Baines followed suit as the redshirt junior raced 25 yards. The defense sprung into action as SAF Javier Morton earned a pick and DT Demerick Morris made a sack. QB Tyler Douglas orchestrated a drive in which the redshirt freshman ran the ball himself to pick up yardage, and then proceeded to find TEs Reese Clark and Landon Morris to move the ball further down the filed, leading to a 39-yard field goal attempt.

The play of the day was made by RB Antwain Littleton who jetted a 90-yd run for a touchdown.

Tuesday, April 9
8 a.m. practice started on a sunny note at Chodoff Field. Former Owl and NFL star Muhammad Wilkerson made a special appearance to support the Cherry and White. Practice was filled with position and special teams drills along with 1-v-1 and 11-v-11 action. 

WR Zae Baines took 1-v-1's by storm as the redshirt junior hauled in two swift catches in the end zone despite tight coverage, Baines' first catch was one-handed at the tip of the end zone, while the second consisted of a rocket from QB Tyler Douglas. TE Landon Morris got in on the action as he caught a high pass at the far corner of the end zone. Defensively, SAF Ihsim Smith-Marsette blocked a pass in the center of the field. SAF Javier Morton secured his first interception of the day. 

During 11-v-11 play, QB Tyler Douglas started off with a 25-yard run up the middle of the field. RB Antwain Littleton followed suit with a blazing 40-yard run up the sideline. Shortly after, Littleton made another 25-yard run. After half-time, QB Forrest Brock drove down the field by connecting a 20-yard pass to Morris.  Baines earned a touchdown by maintaining strong ball security while being hit in the end zone. Temple's defensive came up big as the squad forced a fumble and LB Tyquan King made an interception. Javier Morton tabbed his second interception as the redshirt junior carried the ball 20-yards up the middle of the field.

The play of the day was made by WR Dante Wright as he dove for a 25-yard ball at the tip of the end zone, securing a touchdown.

Thursday, April 11
The Owls underwent their last practice at Chodoff Field prior to Saturday's Spring Game. The practice consisted of position drills, walk-through drills, 7-v-7 and 11-v-11 action.

During 7-v-7 drills, QB Tyler Douglas sprung into action as the redshirt freshman connected a15-yard ball to WR Zae Baines on the sideline and a 10-yard pass up the middle to RB Antwain Littleton, who then proceeded to run for an additional 10 yards. QB Forrest Brock threw two darts during 7-v-7s, starting with a 20-yard ball TE Landon Morris and a 15-yard pass to TE Reese Clark. The offense continued its momentum as WR Zyheem Coleman-Frazier cushioned a 15-yard ball for a touchdown. During a drive orchestrated by QB Evan Simon, WR Dante Wright snagged a 20-yard ball at the tip of the end zone. Defensively, CB Torey Richardson forced two fumbles, and LB Katin Suprenant achieved a tipped pass.  

11-v-11 action started with QB Evan Simon throwing a 10-yard ball to RB E.J Wilson. The red-shirt junior proceeded to throw for another 15 yards to WR Corey Cuascut-Palmer. Simon connected to TE Landon Morris who continued to move the ball for 20 yards. The drive ended with a field goal by Carl Hardin. 

CB Torey Richardson earned the play of the day as he closed practice with a pick.
