2021 (Graduate): Earned preseason fourth-team All-AAC recognition (Athlon's) ... started his fourth consecutive season opener (second for Temple) at Rutgers ... started his 17th consecutive game under center for Temple, the longest active streak on the offense, against Houston.
2020 (Graduate): Transferred to Temple in the summer … reunited with the staff who recruited him at NIU ... Rimington Trophy Watch List ... started his first game with Temple at center in the season opener at Navy ... was the only Temple offensive lineman to start every game ... American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team ... lettered.
2019 Redshirt Junior): Started nine games and played in 10 for the Huskies under first-year coach Thomas Hammock.
2018 (Redshirt Sophomore): Started 11 games at left guard missing just three (Toledo, Western Michigan, MAC Championship) … Huskie RBs notched six 100-yard rushing games with Perez in the game … NIU ranked in the top half of the MAC in rushing offense (166.9 yards/game), first downs (270) and red zone offense (82.1 percent).
2016-17 (JUCO): Played offensive line at Shawnee (Kan.) Community College where he helped the team to an 8-3 record his sophomore year as they ended the season as conference runners-up … served as the Grizzlies captain and was named first team All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference and was a first team All-American in 2017.
High School: Played tight end in high school … spent his sophomore year in Kansas before transferring to St. Thomas Aquinas in Florida as a junior and senior … recorded six catches in both his junior and senior seasons, for 82 and 124 yards, respectively … as a sophomore, caught one pass for 21 yards and a touchdown and was selected first team all-state and first team All-Eastern Kansas League ... also participated in track & field, swimming, and basketball.
