Andre Odom begins his third season at Temple University and his first season as the assistant director of internal operations.
In 2012, Odom worked with player development and community service projects. He served as a graduate assistant during the 2011 season.
A 2003 graduate of George Washington High School, Odom was a two-way starter at running back and defensive back (2001-03).
Odom began his collegiate career at Bloomsburg as a dual-sport athlete, competing in football as a defensive back and in track as a sprinter. He transferred to Temple and walked on the football team under coach Al Golden. A severe back injury ended his playing career at Temple before it began.
Odom began his coaching career at George Washington in 2009, assisting with the defense and special teams.
The Philadelphia native earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from Temple in 2008. Following graduation, Odom worked at CBS?Radio in Philadelphia before serving as a branch manager at PNC?Bank.
Odom is pursuing a master’s degree in sports management from Temple.
