Austan Davis joined the Temple Football staff as a graduate assistant coach working with the offense in January 2023. He came to Temple from Midwestern State in Wichita Falls, Texas, where he was the running backs coach.
 
Davis graduated from Midwestern State in 2019 with a bachelor of science degree in sport and leisure administration, while playing football for five seasons.
