Avi Rushinek has been part of the Temple Football staff since February, 2022. He joined the staff as an undergraduate student assisting the video department by filming practices and workouts.

By time the 2022 football season rolled around, Rushinek proved to be a valuable asset to the coaching staff who had him assist with opponent breakdowns and run the scout team. Upon graduation in 2023, with his degree in sports management, he became a graduate assistant for the defense enabling him to take on full coaching responsibilities.

The Haifa, Israel, native attended Calabasas High in New Jersey where he was a wide receiver from 2016-19. The Temple graduate is currently working towards his masters in sports business.
