Dan O'Connor is in his second season as the assistant athletic equipment manager at Temple University. The 2013 season will be his eighth with the Owls’ football team.
As assistant manager, O'Connor handles the day-to-day equipment needs of Temple’s Olympic sports and supervises the operation of the McGonigle Hall equipment rooms. He also assists with the equipment operation of the football program. His responsibilities include the ordering, distributing, and maintaining of athletic equipment and uniforms.
O'Connor has served the Temple Football program since 2006, beginning as a four-year student manager. Upon graduation in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree, O'Connor continued with the football program as a graduate assistant and earned his master’s in sport and recreation management in 2012.
