Dave Gerson was named Associate Director for Development Operations in February 2022 after a five-year stint with Temple Football.
Gerson provides internal operations services to the athletic development office through managing programs in the areas of donor stewardship, special events, marketing, data and reporting. Gerson revitalized and oversees the T-Club, the varsity club for former student-athletes, coaches, support staff, spirit squad, and the marching band. His sport-specific primary fundraising responsibilities include Football, Cheer, and Dance.
Gerson, who has served the Temple Athletic Department full-time since 2017, has transitioned to a role in Development after serving as the Assistant Director of Football Operations for the last five years. In this role, Gerson assisted in communication, special events and stewardship efforts towards prospective donors, student-athletes and alumni while also assisting in away game site visitation, contract negotiations and site advancements.
Prior to serving as the Assistant Director of Football Operations, Gerson served as the Football Operations Graduate Assistant at Temple where he focused on day-to-day correspondence and administrative processes within recruiting as well as planning, coordinating, and executing football alumni special events.
A 2015 graduate of Temple, Gerson received a bachelor's degree in marketing before continuing on to receive a masters in sport business in 2018. He is currently pursuing an Ed.D. in Higher Education from the College of Education and Human Development.
