Omar Hales
Omar Hales begins his first season working with Temple football as a graduate assistant for the defense.

Hales joined the program in January after two-year stint with Imhotep Charter High School working as both a substitute teacher and the Dean of Students. Hales' relationship with the Philadelphia football powerhouse runs deeper, however, as he served as the football team's defensive coordinator from 2010-2013, compiling a 38-5 record during the three season span while allowing just 10.3 points per game.

A Philadelphia native and former two-year letterman for the Owls, Hales graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration from the Fox School of Business at Temple University in 2010. He is currently working on his graduate degree within Temple's School of Tourism and Hospitality Management.
