Brown arrived at Temple from Woodrow Wilson High where he served as the Head Coach from 2015-2020. During his time at Woodrow Wilson, Brown led the team to state championships in 2018 and 2019, as well as a regional championship in 2019. His offenses were explosive, scoring 512 and 539 points in 2018 and 2019, respectively, including five 1,000-yard receivers and two 3,500-yard passers. Brown coached and developed the 2019 New Jersey Gatorade Player of the Year.
Before his time at Woodrow Wilson, Brown worked as the offensive coordinator for Camden High School from 2012 to 2014. During his stint, Camden went undefeated for two straight years, and Brown coached 14 first-team All-State players.
Before his coaching career started, Brown played wide receiver for Tulane where he was a two-time team captain, graduating in 2007. With the Green Wave, Brown earned third-team All-Conference USA honors, catching 47 passes for 720 receiving yards and six touchdowns. Later, Brown earned a master’s of education degree from American InterContinental University in 2009.
The Camden, N.J., native and his wife, Tiana, have three children, daughter Ayanna (15), and sons Preston Jr. (11) and Antwuan.
