Rob Dvoracek is now in his third season as a student assistant coach for Temple University in 2016. It is his fifth season with the football program.
Dvoracek was a two-year letter winner for the Owls earning playing time at linebacker as a true freshman in 2012. He was penciled in to start at middle linebacker in 2013 but a hand injury sidelined him to start the year. He returned to play in eight games but suffered a knee injury in the season finale. Complications to that surgery sidelined him for more than a year which he spent working with the coaching staff.
The Allentown, Pa., native attended Parkland High where he was a standout at both fullback and linebacker. He earned his bachelor’s degree in adult and organizational development and was a two-time conference All-Academic honoree.
