Team captain ... fifth-year senior ... moved to OT from DE in preseason 2006 practice.
Honors: 2009 second-team All-MAC honoree … named second-team All-MAC by Phil Steele … named team’s 2009 Offensive MVP as a member of the offensive line … recipient of the team’s 2009 Carlos Diaz Award as the most improved player … 2009 Midseason second-team All-MAC selection by Phil Steele’s College Football … 2006 Sporting News Honorable Mention Freshman All-American.
2009: Team captain … started all 13 games at left tackle … one of just nine players to start every game … also played on the field goal unit … lettered.
