2025 (Freshman, Temple): Part of the 2025 recruiting class ... named a Preseason Freshman All-American by 247 sports ... served as the teams second string tight end ... made his collegiate debut week 1 at UMass and recorded 3 receptions and 2 touchdowns ... missed the Charlotte game due to injury ... lettered.

High School: Played tight end and defensive end at The Hun School in Princeton, N.J., for head coach Todd Smith …  Hun finished the season 9-1, while Kusch recorded 35 receptions, 692 yards, and two touchdowns … prior to that he attended Seaquam Secondary School in Delta, B.C., where he played for for head coach Kevin Phillips … earned AAA Provincial defensive MVP with 72 tackles and 11.0 sacks along with 28 receptions for 485 yards, while adding eight touchdowns … also lettered in track.

Personal: Born Ryder Andrew Kusch in White Rock, British Columbia (Canada) … father, Garrett Kusch, was a striker for the Canadian national soccer team in the late 1990s … plans to major in kinesiology.
