Andrew Bertz was hired to the Temple Football staff as assistant director of player personnel in November 2021. He is no stranger to Edberg Olson Hall as he had various roles with the program since his days as a student at Temple.
Bertz began his time with the Owls in March of 2017 when he was a student worker in the recruiting and operations departments. He helped in the recruiting area by organizing rosters, and assisting in the planning and execution of on-campus visits and football camps. Those responsibilities grew into scouting and evaluation of potential recruits.
Bertz is a 2020 graduate of Temple’s School of Sport, Tourism and Hospitality Management. He earned his masters’ in the science of sport management from West Virginia University in 2021.
