Arkeem Byrd joined the Temple Football Staff as the Director of Player Development in July 2022. He came to Temple from Oregon where he was a coordinator of student-athlete development. Previously, he served as a graduate assistant for student-athlete development at Arizona State.

Byrd went to Arizona State by way of Penn State, where he was an academic support assistant. Before joining Penn State, Byrd was assisting student-athletes at Wake Forest as a student coach working with the cornerbacks (2017-20), academic counseling intern (2019), and student-athlete development intern (2020).

Byrd graduated from Wake Forest with a bachelor of arts in communication in 2020, and graduated from Arizona State with a master’s in sports law and business in 2022.
