Joshua Phillips joined the Temple Football staff as video coordinator in January 2023. Phillips came to Temple after spending the 2022 season with Clemson as a graduate assistant in coaching video. During his time at Clemson, the team won the ACC Championship which earned the team a trip to the Orange Bowl.
Prior to his time at Clemson, Phillips spent four seasons, from 2018-2021, with Penn State as a video manager. While with the Nittany Lions, the team earned trips to the Cotton Bowl, Citrus Bowl and Outback Bowl.
Phillips is a native of Spring City, Pa. and a graduate of Penn State where he has a bachelor of science in special education and teacher certification. He is working towards completing a master’s in athletic leadership from Clemson. Phillips is a member of the Collegiate Sports Video Association (CSVA).
