On August 18, 2022, Bruce Myers was named assistant coach of the Temple men's tennis team by Head Coach Steve Mauro.

Throughout Myers' second season from 2023–2024, the Owls tabbed an overall record of 7–14. The squad participated in the AAC tournament as they put up a valiant effort in facing No. 64 Charlotte.

During his first season, Myers helped lead the team to achieve an overall record of 19-5, along with an AAC Tournament run that finished with a two-point deficit against No. 1 Memphis.

During his six years (2016–2022) as head coach at Bucknell University, Myers coached five First Team All-Patriot League selections and four Academic All-Patriot League honorees. Under his guidance, the Bison advanced to the Patriot League Tournament semifinals for the second time during his tenure, demonstrating his ability to develop competitive teams. Before his time at Bucknell, Myers served as the head men's tennis coach at Delaware during the 2015-16 season, where he played a key role in ending a 34-match losing streak and guiding the team to three wins in its final six contests. His coaching journey includes stints as head women's coach and adjunct physical education professor at Longwood University (2014-2016), head coach of both men's and women's tennis at North Carolina A&T (2013-2014), and director of tennis and head coach of men's and women's tennis at Randolph-Macon College, his alma mater (2012-2013).

As a Randolph-Macon graduate from 1993, Myers boasts a distinguished collegiate tennis career, having served as a three-year captain and earning two-time All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference selection honors.

Before transitioning to coaching, Myers excelled in the corporate world, serving as president and CEO of The National Financial News Services from 1993-2007 and owner and managing partner of Shoprate.com from 2006-2008.

Myers enjoys a fulfilling family life with his wife, Samantha, and their five sons: Joel, Brett, Xavier, Evan, and Ben.
