High School: Earned a total of 12 varsity letters in cross country and track at West Allegheny High School…Competes in both middle distance and distance events…Named Midwestern Athletic Conference MVP as a sophomore, junior and senior…Won the district cross country meet as a junior and placed third in the state…Took fourth in districts as a senior and finished seventh at the state meet…Won the district title in the 800m as a junior and recorded a second-place finish in the 800m at the district meet as a senior…Earned a number of other top-10 finishes in her career at both district and state meets…Took 10th in the state in the 1600m as a sophomore and was eighth in the state cross country championships that year.
