2016 OUTDOOR: Named the Temple Owls Best Female Athletic Performer of the Year for the 2015-16 athletics season... Earned Second-Team All-America Honors for the third time after placing 15th in the 5000m at the NCAA Outdoor Championships... Placed third at the 2016 NCAA East Regional Qualifier in the 5000-meter race...American Athletic Conference two-time champion in the 1500 and 5000-meter races... Set a new school and meet record in the 5000-meter race at the American Outdoor Championships with a gold-medal winning time of 16:14.62... Earned the gold in the 1500-meter race for the second year in a row with a time of 4:26.60... Earned all-conference honors for her efforts at the outdoor championships... Earned a second gold medal in the 1500-meter race at the Princeton Invitational with a time of 4:23.70. Â
2016 INDOOR: Competed in two indoor meets while battling injury… Helped the distance medley relay to a second-place finish at the American Athletic Conference Indoor Championships with a time of 11:43.70... Named to Temple’s Director’s Honor Roll for having a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
2015 OUTDOOR: Earned NCAA All-America Second Team honors for a second time since transferring to Temple six months prior...Was the Owls' first representative at the NCAA Outdoor Championships since 1987...Broke the school record in the 1500 meter for a third time at the national meet, placing 15th overall in a time of 4:19.62...Earned her spot at the NCAA Championships with an 11th-place finish at the NCAA East Preliminary meet...Won the 1500 meter at the American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships in 4:28.97...Took fifth at the conference meet in the 5,000 meter run with a time of 17:16.76...Placed fourth overall and was the top collegiate finisher in the Olympic Development Women's Mile at the Penn Relays with a personal-best and school-record time of 4:39.88...Was also part of the school-record setting sprint medley relay team at the Penn Relays, running the anchor leg of the seventh-place relay team that finished in a time of 3:56.77...Named the Under Armour OwlSports.com Athlete of the Month in both April and May...Finished the indoor and outdoor track seasons setting school records in all six events in which she competed...Competed at the Spanish National Championships on July 19, taking bronze in the 1500 meter in 4:17.73 which would have set another Temple school record.
