Bio
2016-17: Served as the overall team captain as well as the epee squad leader...Concluded her time as an Owl with a career record of 145-95...Was a semifinalist and placed 15th overall in her final NCAA Mid-Atlantic/South Regional...Season record in dual meets was 34-21, ending with an 8-1 mark at her final Temple Invitational in helping the Owls to upsets of top-ranked Princeton and fourth-ranked Penn State...In helping Temple to its best-ever finish of 11-1 at the Northwestern Duals, she went 11-6 overall which included a win for the short-handed foil squad...Named to Temple's Athletic Director's Honor Roll for a fourth year in a row for having a GPA of 3.0 or above.
2015-16: Returned strong after an injury suffered sophomore year...Was a consistently strong fencer for the epee squad and finished the year with impressive places at two postseason meets for the Owls...Placed fourth at the NIWFA Championships on Feb. 27 to earn All-NIWFA Second Team honors, and followed it up with a seventh-place finish at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic/South Regional...For the season, she finished with a 49-36 record in dual meets, more than doubling her number of wins from the previous year...Went 11-1 at the Penn State Invitational on Jan. 16, helping the epee squad go undefeated including wins over #2 Columbia and #8 Penn State...Went 3-0 against both the second-ranked Lions and eighth-ranked Nittany Lions, beating All-Americans on both teams....Went 8-2 at the Sacred Heart Invitational on Dec. 6, including perfect 3-0 records against Harvard and NYU...Began the season with a strong finish at the 36th annual Temple Open, taking third place for the Owls in epee...Named to Temple's Athletic Director's Honor Roll for a third year in a row for having a GPA of 3.0 or above.
2014-15: Capped a strong second season for Temple with a ninth-place finish in epee at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic/South Regional...Battling through injury much of the season, she finished with a dual meet record of 24-16...Among 180 competitors in junior women’s epee at the November North American Cup (NAC), she advanced to the round of eight and finished seventh overall...In the first dual meet of the season at Sacred Heart, she went 6-2...Was a leader for the Owls as they went undefeated at the Philadelphia Invitational on Jan. 24...Finished at 10-5 overall and scored a big win when Temple needed it near the end of an intense battle with #6 Penn...After resting her injured shoulder through some of the later meets of the season, she returned to action at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic/South Regional and earned a ninth-place finish for Temple...Named to Temple's Director's Honor Roll for having a GPA above 3.0.
2013-14: Had a strong freshman season, highlighted by top-25 finishes at both the January North American Cup (NAC) and the Junior Olympic Fencing Championships...Placed 19th in epee in her first meet as an Owl, the Temple Open...Her epee event at the January NAC included 120 fencers, making her 22nd-place finish an impressive one...Posted a record of 14-6 in early February at the Northwestern Duals...Went 6-1 to help the epee squad go undefeated at the Duke Invitational on Feb. 9...Won her pool at the Junior Olympic Fencing Championships, and went on to place 15th in junior women’s epee out of 153 fencers...Went 4-3 overall against some of the top competition in the nation at the Temple Invitational on Feb. 22, and finished the dual meet season with a record of 38-22...Represented Temple at the NCAA Regionals, and advanced to the finals where she placed ninth overall...Named to Temple's Director's Honor Roll for having a GPA above 3.0.
