Devon Schneider
Devon Schneider, a one-time opponent of Temple lacrosse as an attacker for the powerhouse Florida Gators, joined the Owls as an assistant coach on Bonnie Rosen's staff in the summer of 2017. Schneider graduated from Florida in 2016, and spent one year as an assistant coach at Kennesaw State out of the ASUN Conference.

The Kennesaw State Owls played for just their fifth-ever season in 2017, and Schneider's involvement helped the team to a program-best eight wins. While working full-time at Kennesaw State, she completed online coursework to earn her master's degree in sport management from Florida in May, 2017. Schneider had gotten her bachelor's degree in sport management from UF a year earlier, and was awarded a James W. Kynes Memorial Scholarship for post-graduate studies.

Schneider was a part of four regular season titles with Florida, winning two with the American Lacrosse Conference and two more after joining Temple in the BIG EAST Conference. Over her four-year career, the Gators compiled an impressive record of 69-14.

Playing under Amanda O'Leary, an All-American at Temple (then Mandee Moore), Schneider scored 85 goals and added 18 assists for Florida, and was named to the All-BIG EAST First Team as a junior. She scored a career-high five goals twice, once in a BIG EAST Championship win over UConn, and another time in the NCAA Tournament. One of her five goals in the conference title victory was a behind-the-back score that was featured on SportsCenter's Top 10 plays.

Schneider is originally from Lititz, Pa., and was a two-time High School All-American at Manheim Township with former Temple player Megan Pinkerton ('16). She also played for the X-Treme Lacrosse Club with Pinkerton and Temple alums Avery Longstaff and Kari Longstaff ('16).
