    Men's Basketball Coach
Coach of Temple basketball for 13 years. Compiled a brilliant 205-79 record as Temple became a national powerhouse. His 1937-38 team won 23 of its 25 games and the first National Invitation Tournament by defeating Bradley, Oklahoma A&M and Colorado. The 1938 team also won the Intercollegiate Basketball Conference championship. His 1935-36 team reached the finals of the 1936 Olympic Trials. One of the biggest victories came over Stanford and the great Hank Luisetti. He produced famous players like Harry Litwack, Mike Bloom, Reds Rosan, Ed Boyle and Don Shields. Deceased 1939.
