Emily Stein joined the Temple Athletics staff as an assistant athletic trainer just August of 2022, working with the Men's Crew, Women's Fencing and Women's & Men's Cross Country teams. She now provides care primarily to the Women's Basketball team.
Stein came to Temple following two years at High Point University where she spent time working with Men's and Women's Cross Country and Track and Field teams. During her stint there, the team won multiple Big South Conference Championships and competed in the NCAA Track and Field Championships. Stein worked in the biomechanics lab at High Point University, specializing in gait re-training.
Before her time at High Point University, Stein completed her Master's degree at Temple University, were she was the President of the Owls Athletic Training Society and completed clinical rotations at the University of Pennsylvania, Drxel University, Father Judge High School, and Widener University.
