Eric Rigg joined the Owl Club staff in May of 2026 as the Associate Director of Development Operations.
Rigg will provide internal operational support services to the athletics development office through the management of programs related to donor stewardship, special events, marketing, data management, and reporting. He will organize and implement athletics stewardship programs, including annual fund benefits, tickets and parking, philanthropic naming opportunities, gift society management, and impact reporting.
Rigg joins Temple from East Stroudsburg University, where he most recently served as Director of Athletic Business Operations. During his time at ESU, he managed a wide range of operational, financial, and engagement initiatives supporting 22 athletic programs while cultivating strong relationships with alumni, community partners, and corporate sponsors. He helped support Athletics Giving Day initiatives in partnership with university advancement staff and coaches, secured new sponsorship opportunities and community partnerships, and contributed to increased revenue through innovative operational and event strategies. He played a key role in planning and executing major university and alumni events, including Homecoming, Alumni Day, athletic banquets, and NCAA tournament hospitality.
Prior to transitioning to administration, he served as an assistant men's basketball coach at East Stroudsburg University, where he contributed to a 42-17 record over 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 seasons.
Rigg earned a Master of Science in Management and Leadership in Sport Management from East Stroudsburg University in 2023, following a Bachelor of Science in Professional Sales and Marketing from Bloomsburg University in 2021.
