Hannah Gavin joined Temple UNiversity Athletics in March 2025 as the Assistant Athletic Director of Business Operations. In this role, she oversees the department's financial operations and supports the strategic management of day-to-day business functions.
Before Temple, Gavin spent over four years at New Jersy City University (NJCU), where she held several key positions within the athletics department, including Assistant Business Manager, Assistant Compliance Officer, Athletics Academic Coordinator, and Assistant Softball Coach. Her responsibilities included managing business operations, ensuring NCAA and conference compliance, and providing academic advising and support services to student-athletes.
As NJCU's sole Academic Coordinator, Gavin played a central and crucial role in student-athlete development and success, leading efforts in academic planning, enrollment and retention strategies.
A former NCAA Division III student-athlete and SAAC Chair, Gavin was a four-year member, three-year captain of NJCU's softball team, a two-time Academic All-NJAC, and a member of the program's 100-Hit Club.
Originally from South Jersey, Gavin a 2-time NJCU graduate, earned her B.S. in Business Management and Finance, cum laude, in 2019, and completed her MBA in Organizational Management and Leadership from NJCU's School of Business in 2021 while serving as a Graduate Assistant.
