Keith Holt, who played two seasons of football at Temple UNiversity, returned to his alma mater in January 2019 as the Director of Compliance and Student-Athlete Affairs. In this role, Holt serves as the primary eligibility contact for all varsity sports and acts as the department's liaison to both the Office of Admissions and University Housing. He plays a critical role in ensuring institutional and NCAA compliance, supporting student-athletes through the admissions process, and managing housing logistics in coordination with campus partners.
Currently, Holt is enrolled in Temple's Maser of Science in IT Auditiing and Cybersecurity (ITACS) program, where he is further developing his expertise in data governance, information security, and systems integration--skills he plans to leverage to enhance compliance operations and technological efficiency within athletics.
A native of Philadelphia's West Oak Lane neighborhood, Holt played in all 11 games as a true freshman in 2005. That season, he recorded 33 tackles (11 solo), 2.5 tackles for loss, one interception, and one forced fumble. The following year, he appeared in four games, before a career-ending back injury, finishing with 16 tackles and one tackle for loss.
Prior to returning to Temple, Holt served as the Compliance Coordinator at Oregon State University, where he oversaw a broad range of responsibilities including initial eligibility review, NCAA and PAC-12 waivers, amateurism and recruiting compliance, and administration of National Letter of Intent and Grant-in-Aid programs. He also led monthly initial eligibility meetings with the football staff and prospective student-athletes. While at OSU, Holt contributed to department-wide strategic planning initiatives focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Before his time at Oregon State, Holt began his compliance career as a graduate assistant at Bethune-Cookman Uniersity, where he earned a Master's degree in Transformative Leadership in 2017. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Physiology-Exercise Science at Temple University in 2009.
