Nick Plack joined the Temple Athletics staff in July, 2006. As Senior Academic Advisor, Plack oversees volleyball, men's and women's cross country, golf, and women's track.
Over the years he also served as an advisor with men's and women's basketball, men's and women's tennis, baseball, softball, field hockey, and women's soccer.
Plack began his career as a Nittany Lion, earning a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies from Penn State in 2001. While at Penn State, Plack earned Academic Big-Ten honors as a high jumper and triple jumper.
Upon graduation, Plack took on a graduate assistantship at Morgan Academic Support Center for Student-Athletes, where is earned a M.Ed. in Higher education and Administration in 2003.
Before arriving at Temple, Plack worked at Southern Methodist University, overseeing the football, women's basketball, and volleyball teams.
In his free time, Plack loves spending time with his wife, Nikki, trying out new cheese steak and pizza places, going on long walks with his two dogs, Oliver and Brooklyn, riding his road bike and or peloton, and reading.
Plack is also a very passionate Philadelphia Sports fan, and you can usually see him in his team's jerseys and gear throughout the year.
