Nicole Sweeney is a former D1 soccer player at Temple, originally from San Jose, CA. Sweeney is currently enrolled at Temple as a dual-degree master's in public health (MPH) and master's in social work (MSW) student.
She transferred from Santa Clara University to Temple University, where she continued her athletic career for a 5th year at Temple in 2023. At Santa Clara (2019-2023), she was a part of three WCC Championships, a 2020 D1 NCAA Championship, and competed in back-to-back NCAA Final Fours.
Sweeney graduated from SCU with a B.S. in Public Health and Ethnic Studies. She hopes to pursue a career using sports, exercise, and movement as a means to reduce health disparities among vulnerable populations.
