Tia Withers joined the Temple Athletics staff in 2022 and currently serves as Manager of Leadership Operations. In her role, Withers supports a broad range of executive leadership, financial operations, and strategic initiatives for the department. She coordinates leadership meetings, departmental communications, and cross-campus initiatives within the university community. Additionally, she oversees operational planning tied to sponsor-provided in-kind services and contributes to the business operations of multiple sport programs, including financial reconciliations and accounts payable and receivable processing.

In addition to her operational responsibilities, Withers manages team travel and business operations for Temple’s women’s field hockey and women’s lacrosse programs. Prior to Temple, Withers worked in football operations at Florida International University and previously served as a football operations student assistant at the University of Alabama, where she supported recruiting and operational logistics for the Crimson Tide football program.

Withers recently earned her MBA with a concentration in Finance from Temple University’s Fox School of Business after completing a Master of Science in Recreation and Sport Management from Florida International University and a bachelor’s degree in Communication and Information Sciences with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Alabama. She is currently pursuing CPA licensure and preparing for the Uniform CPA Examination in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
