Mykia Jones
Mykia Jones was named a graduate manager for the Owls beginning with the 2018-19 season.
 
A stand-out collegiate basketball player, Jones spent her final year of eligibility with the Owls. In four years between Wake Forest, Georgetown, and Temple, she racked up over 500 career points in college, while adding 175 rebounds, 132 assists, and 63 steals. A fantastic three-point shooter, she nailed over 100 from long range in her career.
 
At Temple in 2017-18, Jones played in 30 games for the Owls, making seven starts. She ranked second on the team with 40 threes, including nailing five in a game twice during the season. Jones saved her best for last, leaving her college career behind with 18 points on five threes with a pair of steals in Temple’s American quarterfinal game against UCF.
 
Jones earned her bachelor’s degree in sociology from Georgetown in 2017. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Temple’s School of Sport, Tourism and Hospitality Management, with a focus on sport business and a concentration in sport marketing and promotions.
 
Jones is a native of Raleigh, N.C.
