Two Owls Named to the Atlantic 10 Fall Academic All-Conference Women's Soccer Team
Lori Brennan of the Temple women's soccer team and Serene McGrath of the Temple field hockey team were named to the Atlantic 10 Fall Academic All-Conference team.
Brennan (Collegeville, Pa./Methacton), a senior midfielder on the Owls' soccer team, has a 3.47 GPA majoring in secondary education. On the field, Brennan finished the 1999 season second on the team in scoring with five goals and seven assists. The Collegeville, Pa. native finished her career with 17 assists placing her second all-time in career assists at Temple.
McGrath (Cinnaminson, N.J./Little Flower), the starting goalie on the Owls' field hockey team, has a 3.11 GPA majoring in health studies. On the field, the Temple senior made 164 saves and posted a 2.77 goals against average in 1999. McGrath had four shut outs for the Owls during the 1999 season.
