Softball Hosts Its 1999 Senior Day

(April 22, 1999) -- This Sunday, the Temple Owls will pay special tribute to seniors Kathy Kulan, Heather Brown and team manager, Lawana Rudiak. Temple will play conference rival, Fordham, in a double header starting at 12 noon at Erny Field.
Kulan, an infielder for the Owls is a native of Levittown, Pa. She is fifth on the team with a batting average of .208. The psychology major has totaled six runs for the Owls this season with three doubles and 4 RBIs.
Brown, an infielder and outfielder is a native of Hatfield, Pa. She has started in seven games for the Owls this season. The marketing /international business major saw action in 30 contests last season and started 16 games, contributing two runs, one stolen base and two RBIs.
Rudiak, a former Owl, has been with the Owls all season as the team manager. She played for the Owls during her freshman and sophomore years until serving as a manager during her junior and senior years.
The Owls will take on Rutgers' Scarlet Knights in a double header at their next home game on Wednesday, April 28 at 3:00p.m.
