Prezioso Named to College Sports Madness American All-Conference Team

PHILADELPHIA – Temple softball's Sarah Prezioso (Bloomfield, N.J./Bloomfield) has been named to the Madness 2014 American All-Conference Second Team by College Sports Madness.
Prezioso, a senior captain, led the squad nearly the entire season in every offensive category. The shortstop ended the year hitting .360 (50-for-139) and topped the team in hits (50), runs (34), RBI (22), stolen bases (20), doubles (9) and homeruns (8).
A four-year standout, Prezioso will graduate with her name at the top of six career batting records, and in the second spot of two others. The lists she tops are at bats (618), total bases (386), hits (224), runs (169), stolen bases (63), and home runs (36). She is behind one former player in singles (142) and RBI (145).
Temple finished the year at 15-30 overall and 5-13 in conference play. The Owls' season concluded on Thursday, May 8, with a 5-3 opening round loss to Louisville at the conference tournament.
