Ross Named Second Team Lacrosse All-America

PHILADELPHIA (May 19, 1999) -- Temple senior Nicole Ross (Odenton, Md./Arundel) added another lacrosse honor to her collection of awards after being named to the 1999 Brine/IWLCA Division I All-America second team.
The midfielder was also recently named to the MidAtlantic Region All-America first team. The Atlantic 10's Offensive Player of the Year, Ross led the Owls and the Conference with 67 goals. She also tied Temple's single game record for goals with 10 against Duquesne.
Ross is the lone Brine/IWLCA Division I All-American from the Atlantic 10 Conference.
The Owls finished the season with an 8-11 record. They were the Atlantic 10's regular season champions with a 5-0 record and advanced to the championship game, falling to Virginia Tech, 8 7.
