Dayton Flies Past Women's Soccer 7-2

PHILADELPHIA - The Dayton Flyers defeated Temple 7-2 giving the Owls' their 6 straight
loss, dropping their record to 8-8 overall and 1-4 in the Atlantic 10
Conference.
Dayton flew out to an early lead; sophomore forward Missy
Greg scored their first two goals. Greg's goals was scored at 10:44
and 13:45 of the first half, giving Dayton a 2-0 lead early in the first half.
The Owls' battled back to register a goal by sophomore Johanna Yemm and
assisted by senior Julie Marx at 14:38 of the first half. Dayton's freshmen
Kara Kenny added an unassisted goal at 31:24 of the half to give the Flyers
a 3-1 halftime lead.
Temple's Johanna Yemm scored her second goal of the game at 62:24 of the
second half to cut the Flyers lead to 3-2.
Dayton's sophomore Lindsey Whitehead added two-second half goals; Junior
Bridgett Bushman and freshmen Judi Aschenbrener added unassisted goals
to tally up a 7-2 defeat for the Owls.
The Owls next will host LaSalle Friday at 3pm at Temple Stadium.
