Women's Soccer Wins Home Finale 2-1 Over Fordham

PHILADELPHIA - Temple's sophomore Cameron Jennings scored 22 seconds into the game and added an assist on the game-winning goal to lead the Owls' to victory on "Senior's Day" at Temple Stadium. The Owls never trailed in the contest. Leading team scorer Brandi Wright provided the game-winning goal at 68:24 with the assist by Jennings who tallied 3 points on the afternoon.
Fordham's sophomore Emily Parella responded with their only goal exactly one minute later at the 69:24 mark cutting the Owls
lead to 2-1. Temple's sophomore goalkeeper Courtney Woytowicz had six saves in a solid performance to shut down Fordham the final 21 minutes. The win was Temple's second in a row lifts the Owls' and assured Temple's senior co-captain Mary Mulvenna, sisters Julie and Emily Marx of a non-losing regular season record. The Owls' now sport a 10-8 record overall and 3-5 in the Atlantic 10 with two games remaining in the regular season. Temple will visit Duquense on Friday at 3pm.
