Wright Named Atlantic 10 Women's Soccer Player of the Week

PHILADELPHIA (October 25) - Brandi Wright, the Owls' junior forward was named the A-10 Conference Player of the Week for the week ending October 22. Wright scored the game-winning goals in Temple's Atlantic 10 wins over LaSalle (3-2) on Friday and Fordham (2-1) on Sunday. She leads the Owls' in goals (10) and points (21).

Temple improved to 10-8 overall and 3-5 in Atlantic 10 action; equaling last season's win total in conference play with two matches remaining. The Owls' assured themselves of a winning season for the first time since compiling a 9-6-2 record in 1995.

Wright hails from Olathe, Kansas and attended Olathe North High School.
