Women's Soccer Ties School Record For Victories With 1-0 Win Over Bonnies

PHILADELPHIA - Owls' co-captain Katie Mulvenna took a pass from fellow senior Emily Marx and found the back of the net to score the only goal of the game. Mulvenna produced her final goal of her career as the Owls' tied a school record for victories in a season with the 1991 Owls' (11-7-0). Temple finished the season 11-9-0 overall and 4-6 in Atlantic 10 action for head coach Seamus Mc Williams. in his seventh season.
Temple's freshman goalkeeper Courtney Woytowicz had one save and recorded the shutout, thanks to the Owls' strong team defensive effort that help Temple to outshoot the Bonnies 18-4 for the game. The win helped the Owls to their first winning season since 1995 when the Owls where 9-6-2 for coach Mc Williams.
