Women's Soccer Streak Snapped At 2 Games with 1-0 Overtime Loss to Dukes

PHILADELPHIA - Duquense snapped the Owls' two game win streak in an overtime loss 1-0. Senior Julie Antignano scored the winning goal in the 96th minute lifting the Dukes to victory and raising their record to 3-14-1 overall and 2-6-1 in Atlantic 10 Conference action.
The Owls' despite outshooting the Dukes 22-8 record fell to 10-9 overall and 3-6 in A-10 Conference play. Duquense senior goalkeeper Michelle Guna recorded the shutout; making six saves on eight shots.
Temple's goalkeeper Courtney Woytowicz recorded 11 saves in the loss. The Owls face St.Bonaventure Sunday October 29th with the chance to tie the school record for victories in a season with 11 currently held by the 1991 team.
