Women's Soccer Johanna Yemm Named To Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team

PHILADELPHIA - Owls' sophomore midfielder Johanna Yemm was named to the 2000 Atlantic 10 Conference Rookie Team. Yemm started in all 19 games she played scoring 4 goals (1 game-winning goal) and adding 4 assists to total 12 points. She was the Owls 4th leading scorer and the only Owl to gain any post-season accolades. Fellow teammates Brandi Wright (Player of the Year and A-10 Team), Jeanette Hibbs (Defensive Player of the Year) and Julie Marx (A-10 Conference Team) were nominated but not selected.
Yemm is a native of Fort Washington, Pa and attended Upper Dublin High School. This was Yemm first year participating in soccer at Temple. The Owls finished with a 4-6 conference mark and 11-9 overall record tying the school mark for victories in a season.
