Softball Lands 3-1 Record in Sonic Challenge Tournament

Philadelphia, Pa.-- The Temple Softball team (5-4) competed in the Sonic Challenge Tournament in Chattanooga, Tenn. this past

weekend.

In the Owls first game, they won against Liberty 2-0, and won against Connecticut 3-1. On Saturday, Temple beat Marshall 1-0

but were defeated against Chattanooga 0-1. Sophomore Nanci Lima was named to the All-Tournament Team. The last game

scheduled against Kentucky was canceled due to rain.

The Owls will compete this weekend in the Speedline Tournament in Tampa Bay, Fla. against South Florida, Penn State and

Michigan State.
