NORFOLK, VA (Mar. 19) - #20 Old Dominion University fell to #19 Temple, 10-5,
Sunday afternoon at Foreman Field on the campus of Old Dominion
University. With the loss, the Lady Monarchs fall to 2-3 overall (1-0
CAA). The Owls stand at 2-2 overall/1-0 Atlantic 10.
Freshman Marlaine Smith (Gaithersburg, Md.) paced the Old Dominion
scoring attack with two goals on the afternoon. Danielle Hensil
(Havertown, Pa.), Katie Heaney (King of Prussia, Pa.) and Dana Wisniewski
(Collegeville, Pa.) Each added a goal.
The two teams played to a 3-3 tie at intermission before the Owls
exploded for seven second-half goals.
