Softball Loses Tough One On The Diamond

Philadelphia, Pa. (March 30) --The Temple women's softball team loss yesterday in a double header against Hofstra University. The Owls (9-19) loss the first game 1-5 and

the second 1-4 at the Hofstra University Softball Stadium. The nightcap was shortened to five innings due to darkness.

Sophomore Katie Spencer went two for four at the plate with two stolen bases. Junior Holly Mahal also went two for four while sophomore Erin Byrne scored a

run for Temple. In the second game, junior Christi Ragan went one for two at the plate scoring a run for Temple.

Temple returns to action in a double-header against local rival UPenn this Saturday at Erny Field at 12 Noon.
